I'm so lucky to live close to Lake Tahoe, where it's beautiful year-round. This Christmas, my family rented a cabin where we enjoyed the snow with the kids.
We walked to the South Tahoe Marina, where part of the lake has frozen over so thick that we can walk on it. With all the boats covered in snow, it feels like another planet.
The next day, we went tubing in Adventure Mountain, where you can either rent tubes or sleds there or bring your own! It's crowded with families, but fun. We watched on the sidelines and cheered as we took turns going down the hill.
Of course, every night ended with hot chocolate, a Pixar movie, and games in the cabin.
