// tomales bay oyster co. & sterns grove, san francisco



This weekend, I went for a roadtrip with my family to Point Reyes, on our way to a humble oyster farm called Tomales Bay Oyster Company. The weather was perfect. We arrived there late, so tables were plenty and we were able to score ourselves a bag of 50 oysters to shuck. I have to say... shucking my own oysters was much more fun than eating them already prepared half-shelled.





Afterwards, my brother took us to a cute park in the middle of San Francisco's Sunset District. It's a little difficult to find because of the small hike down to the woods, but once we got there, there was no sign of houses or city structures. We found one of the city's three natural lakes, Pine Lake and even a small wedding was underway.

During the summer months, Stern's Grove is holding a free concerts for their summer concert series. Such expected performers are Rufus Wainwright and Andrew Bird.
